It’s Not a Permanent Fix, But It’s a Solution
When I started this blog, I wrote a post about the lack of changing tables in public restrooms, especially in the men’s room. And not much has changed since that post. Besides, the 12 states with laws regarding changing stations in new or upgraded buildings. Of course, our new state of Florida doesn’t have laws mandating changing stations. But Miami-Dade does, so that’s a start, I guess.
What’s the solution, though? Bringing a blanket/towel everywhere, so you don’t have to change them on the nasty floor? Taking some yoga classes, so you can wrestle them while in a tiny stall?
Nope, it’s none of these things! The solution is this new product designed by the husband and wife team, Siska and Matt Hines. Siska designed and created the Chikiroo wearable changing table. She was fed up with the lack of changing stations in public spaces and the lack of solutions that were on the market. So the Chikiroo was born.
Check out my unboxing video below. My initial thoughts on this product are it seems fantastic! Its build quality is top-notch. And best of all, it comes from a small mom-and-dad ran company.
Stay tuned for more videos on how to use it and our experience while using it when we are out and about.
